Baptism Trinity

Baptism Preparation

Baptism is the foundation of the whole Christian life, the entryway to life in the Spirit, and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as children of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission. (CCC 1213).

The Sacrament of Baptism is scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on the first, second, and third Sundays each month.

Parents are requested to register and attend a Baptism Preparation Session for their first child which is held monthly in the parish rectory by Fr. Tralies, Deacon Baxter and Madelyn McBride (rotations) and members of the parish.  Godparents may also attend, but it is not mandatory.

Godparents who are not members of the parish are required to submit a letter of eligibility from their Catholic Parish to St. Francis no later than ONE month prior to the Baptism date.
