Aid for Friends, now known as “Caring for Friends” – Is a non-profit organization that provides meals to the home-bound people in our five county area.
This ministry is a comprehensive meal delivery program in the five-county Philadelphia region and the only ones focused on ending hunger and… loneliness.
Volunteers prepare meals in their homes for the needy. Volunteers are always needed to deliver meals to the “Caring For Friends” Corporate Office, located in Northeast Philadelphia.
Food Freezer is open at St. Francis Rectory Basement on Sundays
between 9am until 12 noon for drop off or pick up.
The meal tins are available in the Parish Rectory basement
(Please enter using outside basement door only)
Meals can also be dropped off or Picked up at the
St. Kevin’s Parish Center (Open 24 hours/7 days a week)
Meal preparers and Home visitors are always needed.
