Renee Bondi
Renee Bondi's testimony about God's care
With beautiful songs and personal testimony, Renee Bondi offered a truly inspired evening on March 8, 1999 at St. Francis of Assisi Church with the cooperation of First Presbyterian Church of Springfield.
Renee, who lives in California, became quadriplegic after injuring her spine in a freak fall. She was engaged and was teaching singing. With the help of her fiance, who is now her husband, she struggled back. And she saw God's hand in each step along the way. She is now a mother.
"One of the most difficult things after a tragedy is to know when to move on," Renee said. "It certainly is normal to be sad and angry, but how long you stay there can become a problem."
Renee has come to understand that there are no coincidences in life, only God-incidences. No matter what happens, God is in charge and is able to bring good from whatever happens, fo r ourselves and for others.
Renee witnessed this again and again. Her fiance "just happened" to be relocated in his job and was able to feed her every day.
She saw God's kind hand especially in the love of her husband and the birth of their son. Her singing voice even returned better than ever.
