The word "Call" and it derivatives appear 728 times in the New American Bible. It is a common word meaning "to name" or "to invite." When God or Christ is the subject of the verb (even implied), then salvation is being offered and described. The Word of God demands faith and obedience, yet all these people came to that conclusion very differently. Read, pray, compare talk with a friend or spiritual director. But most of all, respond in your own unique way. God is calling you.
