Although "Challoner Revision" may be the most accurate title for

continues to be called, "The Douay-Rheims Version".

- The Second Vatican Council consisted of Four Sessions. The
Council opened on October 11, 1962 under the pontificate of Pope
John XXIII. The Council was closed on December 8th, 1965 by Pope
Paul VI. The Council issued Four Constitutions, Nine Decrees, and
